Farm Family seeks a skilled Claims Specialist to join our Omaha, NE office. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle property claims, working with customers, brokers, and counsel to achieve fair outcomes.

This 100% in-office role reports to a New York-based manager; requires a bachelor’s degree and state licenses, with strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. We offer a collaborative culture, comprehensive benefits, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Two or more insurance designations or four additional years of claims experience may substitute for degree.
• Minimum of one year experience adjudicating claims.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate moderate to serious first party property/physical damage claims within authority.
• Investigate claims promptly, including interviewing involved parties to determine facts.
• Analyze forms, policies and endorsements to determine coverage.
• Manage diary and ensure timely resolution of cases.
• Prepare reports for management and underwriters on trends and developments.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and company procedures.
