Job summary

Stantec seeks a Project Manager for its Energy & Resources line to lead multi-discipline teams in executing thermal generation projects. The scope includes Owner’s Engineer or Detailed Engineering/Design for simple cycle, combined cycle, and repowering initiatives.

You will drive client satisfaction, manage risk, mentor staff, and contribute to business development as a seller-doer. Projects span North America and advance the energy transition with delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Engineering design and construction experience with power plant projects.
• Expertise in Project management including leadership, scheduling, controls.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Experience with EPC/DBB/ECI delivery models.
• Business development, proposals, and budgeting experience.
• Willingness to travel to US/Canada
• Excellent communication and organization

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to our team.
• Lead energy projects and programs from initiation to close.
• Contribute to PM best practices and framework alignment.
• Coordinate with leadership, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Align project execution with schedule, budget, and quality.
• Mentor junior staff and support recruitment.
• Lead proposals and support business development.
• Achieve annual utilization targets.
