HireArt is helping our client fill a full-time onsite Senior Learning & Development Project Manager (Sr. L&D Partner) in Foster City, CA. You will equip People Partners and leaders with tools, playbooks, and guidance to build capability across the organization.

The ideal candidate balances strategy with execution and brings 6+ years in L&D, strong consulting skills, and proven ability to design scalable learning infrastructure and programs that align with business goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in learning and development or a related field with a balance of strategy and execution.
• Strong consulting and advisory skills to diagnose capability needs and influence without direct authority.
• Experience building scalable learning infrastructure (playbooks, toolkits, frameworks).
• Strong project management and business acumen with ability to manage multiple workstreams and vendors.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to invite input and enable others to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic thought partner to People Partners and people leaders, diagnosing learning and capability needs and applying L&D principles.
• Design scalable tools, playbooks, learning pathways, and frameworks to build lasting capability across teams.
• Consult across the organization to identify skill gaps, align solutions with business priorities, and right-size approaches for scale.
• Design and facilitate structured development programs that connect to performance and career development processes.
• Partner with the L&D Manager and PDE team to ensure cohesive learning approaches.
• Evaluate and manage external learning vendors as needed.

Expected compensation: 80.56 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping our client find a Project Manager (Sr. Learning & Development Partner) to help build a more scalable and sustainable approach to learning and capability development.

In this role, you’ll equip People Partners, managers, and teams with the tools, frameworks, and guidance they need to build capability across the organization. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, partnering with leaders and People Partners to translate business needs into practical, engaging, and reusable learning solutions that strengthen leadership capability and overall performance.

The ideal candidate is an experienced learning and development professional who balances strategy with execution and takes an enablement-first approach to capability building. You’re a strong consultant who can diagnose underlying skill gaps, recommend right-sized solutions, and build scalable resources that empower others to drive development across the organization.

As a Project Manager (Sr. Learning & Development Partner), you'll:

• Serve as a strategic thought partner to People Partners and people leaders, helping diagnose learning and capability needs and apply effective L&D principles.
• Design scalable tools, playbooks, learning pathways, and frameworks that enable others to build lasting capability across their teams.
• Consult across the organization to identify skill gaps, align solutions with business priorities, and right-size learning approaches for sustainability and scale.
• Design and facilitate structured development programs, including core skills and career growth experiences that connect to performance and career development processes.
• Partner with the L&D Manager and broader PDE team to ensure learning approaches are cohesive and connected.
• Evaluate and manage external learning vendors as needed.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in learning and development, organizational development, or a related field, with a track record of balancing strategy and execution
• Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the ability to diagnose capability needs, recommend right-sized solutions, and influence without direct authority
• Experience building scalable learning infrastructure, including playbooks, toolkits, frameworks, or similar resources that enable others to deliver
• Strong project management and business acumen, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, oversee vendors, and connect learning investments to business outcomes
• Ability to manage expectations, prioritize competing needs, push back when appropriate, and recommend lighter-touch solutions when they better meet the need
• Collaborative approach with a demonstrated ability to invite input, share ownership, and enable others to succeed
