The HR Learning & Development Specialist drives the design and implementation of learning and development (L&D) programs that promote company values, increase team member engagement, and accelerate performance to deliver business results. This role will create interactive e-learnings and other materials to develop courses and learning paths aligning with the company’s L&D strategies, including new hire onboarding, both online and in-person learning & development, lunch-and-learns, and other strategic initiatives to provide value to team members and the company by ensuring top performance and utilization of people resources.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders to establish L&D strategies that optimize individual and team performance to drive business results
- Lead programs and systems according to defined strategy and plan, including creation and delivery of key deliverables, reports, communications, learning materials and other resources
- Own annual program calendar, establish best cadence for training events, and ensure proper communication and awareness of programs and calendar to all team members
- Help establish, utilize and track company budget and spending related to learning and development programs and resources
- Manage and oversee eLearning platform and program related training and reporting for department metrics
- Consolidate and build out all training material/videos in a central location/usable format and update new material as changes are made, to develop company-wide training library
- Create and maintain an onboarding training path for each department and position that support organizational goal accomplishments, and oversee appropriate administration of training paths to new and existing team members
- Create and maintain manager and leadership training paths including both online eLearnings and in-person sessions with credible presenters
- Coordinate with other team members as needed to support administering and coordinating programs, while personally owning the tracking of these programs.
- Evaluate the impact of training material and sessions, review surveys for feedback, and stay up to date on industry trends to drive continuous improvements in the effectiveness of our materials
- Proactively seek feedback and continuous improvement opportunities for programs from both internal and external resources

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:
- Advanced degree or equivalent formal training/certifications and experience required
- Technical savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office; experience within database systems a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload

Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectation.
To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:
