Job summary

BELFOR USA is seeking a Project Manager with restoration and construction focus to lead large, complex projects. You will be a field expert, supporting CAT responses after hurricanes and regional damage events, and may become an estimator over time.

The role emphasizes managing crews and subcontractors, adherence to safety and codes, and delivering projects on time and on budget. Occasional nights, weekends, and travel are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of all BELFOR service lines.
• Construction track -- understand scope, schedule work, communicate professionally, ensure project safety, and maintain quality control.
• Establish core project management capabilities; time management, budgeting, scheduling, site supervision, customer contact, communication, quality control, safety, documentation, and change orders.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges.
• Provide field documentation, photo logs, graphs and sketches for various TPA projects.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors; guide them through qualification.
• Capable of managing fixed bid projects and rate-and-material projects.
• Understand BELFOR invoicing and provide necessary documentation.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections; keep equipment in good condition.
• Meet BELFOR standards in safeguarding property and provide strong customer service.
• Work under time constraints and be willing to travel; may work nights and weekends.
• Report time worked and materials used timely and accurately.
• Attend BELFOR training courses as required.
• Construction focus: plan, coordinate, and oversee employees and subcontractors; read blueprints; manage projects over $1M; adhere to building codes.
• Restoration focus: direct small crews and projects over $1M.
