Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee projects from planning through completion and ensure client satisfaction with exceptional service. You will provide project management support for several small to medium projects or one large project under the guidance of senior management.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field and at least 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry. Up to 25% travel is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role
• Combination of training, education, and relevant work experience may be acceptable

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.
• Supervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers and maintaining policies and procedures.
• Provide project management expertise to establish initial client contact, assess scope, schedule, and resources.
• Prepare a complete estimate for the project with review of plans and bid form.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Supervise the preparation and negotiate all change orders.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure schedule and budget compliance.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions within guidelines.
• Prepare change quotations for client presentation and negotiations.
• Prepare monthly costing reports under supervision of Senior PM/Division Manager.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests and relationships.
• Review documentation prepared by Assistant Project Manager before submission.
• Represent the company in project meetings under PM guidance.
