Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group in the United States seeks a Project Manager 1 to lead a major project in collaboration with the superintendent. You will implement project plans, manage subcontractors, schedules, and budgets, and build lasting relationships with clients and design teams.

You will oversee safety culture, preconstruction activities, and ongoing coordination across teams, ensuring Lean principles and best practices guide decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and investigations.
• Oversee prestart and preconstruction activities including takeoff and bids.
• Coordinate with preconstruction team and manage subcontractor pricing and scope.
• Manage submittal schedules and ensure timely approvals.
• Develop and update project schedules and track costs.
