Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Project Manager to lead overall project direction and administration, including safety culture, scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination. The role supports Self Perform work and travels to project sites.

You will interface with clients, design teams and subcontractors, managing change, risk, and contract requirements to deliver complex industrial and data-center projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Strong client, design team and subcontractor relationship-building and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment.
• Manages the prestart process.
• Supports preconstruction including quantity takeoff, trade coordination and scope development, bid package development, schedule development, bid list creation and bid advertisement.
• Leads plan and implementation of buyout schedule; verifies pricing and scope, identifies bidders, and manages subcontracts.
• Manages the submittal schedule; reviews and approves shop drawings and samples for submittal.
• Coordinates with logistics to obtain pricing on materials and equipment.
• Leads meetings such as monthly project reviews, progress meetings and Owner-Architect meetings.
• Prepares monthly cost and margin forecast and participates in budget development.
