Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s in construction management or related field and 7+ years of construction management, with a focus on budget control, schedule development, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years construction management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• May require periods of travel and/or relocation.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
• May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold).

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and mentoring others.
• Manages the prestart checklist form and subcontractor processes.
• Supports preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff, trade coordination, and scope development.
• Leads buyout schedule and subcontractor pricing analysis.
• Manages submittal schedule and approvals with architects/engineers.
• Coordinates with logistics for material pricing.
• Raises risk analysis with project team and manages changes.
• Prepares and reviews project budgets, cost, and margin forecasts.
• Leads project closeout activities and interfaces with legal counsel.
