Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 to provide direction and leadership on moderately complex construction projects within our Advanced Facilities Group. You will drive safety, manage preconstruction activities, subcontractor coordination, and change management, while aligning with JE Dunn’s vision and values.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and 7+ years of industry experience, with strong scheduling, budgeting, and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years construction management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license; ability to travel/relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of safety culture and mentor staff to ensure an injury-free environment.
• Manage prestart checklist, bid package development, and subcontractor selection processes.
• Coordinate preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff, scope development and schedule
• Lead buyout planning, subcontractor pricing, and change order management.
• Oversee subcontractor submittals, shop drawings and coordination with architects/engineers.
• Manage project schedule, budget, cost forecasting and reporting; ensure profitability.
