Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Project Manager for heavy civil NCDOT work in the Greensboro, NC area. You will manage roadway, bridge and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout, owning budgets, schedules, cost reporting, and margins, while leading field teams and coordinating with owners, engineers, inspectors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as the Project Manager of record on heavy civil, highway, bridge or utility work for a contractor.
• NCDOT project experience as the PM is required.
• PM for entire projects, not an APM or PME role.
• Contractor side background; not consultant/inspection.
• Strong on cost control and schedules; lead field teams.
• Exposure to Vista and HCSS HeavyJob preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred, or equivalent field experience.
• OSHA 30 is a plus.
• Central North Carolina candidates preferred, relocation available.

Responsabilités

• Run NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects as the Project Manager of record from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own the budget, schedule, cost reports, forecasting and margin on every job.
• Submit accurate cost and income projections and act on variances early.
• Lead superintendents, field engineers and subcontractors to hit production, quality and safety.
• Serve as the main contact for NCDOT, owners, engineers, inspectors and vendors.
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders and manage subcontractor performance.
• Handle change orders, pay estimates, submittals, claims and contract documentation.
• Run weekly project meetings on schedule and cost, and report performance to leadership; work with estimating on bids and handoff.
• Keep a strong safety culture on every site.
