Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for NCDOT work across central North Carolina. You will oversee NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout, directly managing budgets, schedules, and field teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as PM on heavy civil projects, with proven NCDOT experience and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Relocation to central NC is welcome; competitive base plus bonus offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PM experience on heavy civil/utility projects.
• NCDOT project experience required; name the jobs when asked.
• Experience leading field teams and subcontractors.
• Bachelor’s in Civil Eng or Construction Mgmt preferred; OSHA 30 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage budget, schedule, cost reports, and margin.
• Lead superintendents, field engineers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare change orders and manage pay estimates.
• Run weekly progress meetings and report to leadership.
• Coordinate with estimating on bids and handoff.
