Accounting Search is seeking a Project Manager for Heavy Civil / NCDOT in Greensboro, NC, overseeing NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will own budgets, schedules, cost reporting, forecasting and margins, leading field teams and coordinating with owners and inspectors.

The role requires 5+ years as PM of record on heavy civil work, with explicit NCDOT experience.

Qualificações

• 5+ years as PM of record on heavy civil, highway, bridge or utility projects.
• NCDOT project experience required; be prepared to name the jobs.
• Experience managing projects end-to-end as PM, not an APM.
• Contractor-side background; no consultant/inspection-only backgrounds.
• Strong cost control, scheduling, change orders and field-team management.
• Vista and HCSS HeavyJob experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• OSHA 30 is a plus.
• Central North Carolina candidates preferred; relocation welcome.

Responsabilidades

• Run NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects as the PM of record from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own the budget, schedule, cost reports, forecasting and margin on every job you run.
• Submit accurate cost and income projections and act on variances early.
• Lead superintendents, field engineers and subcontractors to hit production, quality and safety.
• Serve as the main contact for NCDOT, owners, engineers, inspectors and vendors.
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders and manage subcontractor performance.
• Handle change orders, pay estimates, submittals, claims and contract documentation.
• Run weekly project meetings on schedule and cost, and report performance to leadership.
• Work with estimating on bids and the handoff so the job starts right.
• Keep a strong safety culture on every site.
