Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to work with our full stack team from planning through successful delivery. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of project management experience and is comfortable coordinating engineering, operations, business, and other stakeholders.

This role requires someone who can bring structure to complex work, identify risks early, help drive decisions, and maintain momentum toward project goals.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of project management experience, or related field.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects from planning through delivery.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with PM tools like Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet or MS Project.
• Certifications such as CAPM, PMP, Scrum Master are advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, and objectives.
• Develop project plans with milestones, schedules, dependencies, and resources.
• Coordinate day-to-day execution within the fullstack team and with Firmware, Software and UI/UX teams.
• Track progress and identify risks to schedule, scope, and resources.
• Ensure deliverables are clearly defined, assigned, and completed.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings, stand-ups, planning sessions, and status reviews.
• Communicate status, risks, decisions, and changes clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Build alignment across teams with competing priorities.
• Follow up on action items and translate decisions into execution.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers and drive resolution.
• Maintain project documentation and decision records.
