Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee complex projects from inception to completion. The role entails defining scope, schedules, and milestones, while building and managing a PMO program to standardize practices across teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary teams, tracking progress, and communicating risks and status to stakeholders. A Bachelor’s degree and relevant PM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; PMP preferred.
• 4–6 years’ experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a project.
• Define and maintain standards for project management within the organization.
• Standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects.
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements.
• Develop full scale project plans.
• Manage project resource allocation.
• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Provide direction and support to project team.
• Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
