Job summary

Socket.dev is hiring a project manager to lead client implementations end to end, from kickoff through go-live and beyond. You will own plans, manage data migrations, and coordinate with accounting and data specialists to ensure clean handoffs.

You will scope work, write SOWs, handle changes, and keep stakeholders aligned on timelines and deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years running customer-facing implementation, onboarding, or professional services projects—B2B SaaS ideally.
• Real experience scoping work and writing SOWs; able to estimate and justify timelines.
• Comfort walking into conversations cold to gather data and trust quickly.
• Experience carrying a full portfolio at once with proven timing.
• Solid project management fundamentals: scope, dependencies, risk tracking, change control, status reporting.
• Strong writing for SOWs, change orders, and status updates.

Responsibilities

• Run a portfolio of client implementations end to end from kickoff to go-live and beyond.
• Build project plans with discovery, data migration, configuration, training, and cut-over timelines.
• Confirm scope at kickoff; clarify client charges and payment timing.
• Handle scope changes: assess impact, explain tradeoffs, obtain agreement.
• Keep project status current so a teammate can pick up a project.
• Scope incoming accounts and write SOWs that cover all inclusions and assumptions.
• Call clients to extract real answers quickly; analyze data readiness and complexity.
• Estimate effort and timelines, including delivery ownership by others.
• Write SOWs and change orders with clear timelines and impacts.
• Escalate when commercial terms warrant it; assist Sales on complex deals.
• Develop templates and estimating standards for consistency.
