Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Program Manager to lead a team of Project Managers and Project Analysts, directing cross-functional product development efforts with Engineering, Testing, Legal, and more. You will manage a portfolio of complex projects, create roadmaps, and schedule milestones while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT PMO experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, business, or equivalent experience required.
• Project governance certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Engineering Project Management in cross-functional teams and operate as an SME in their portfolio.
• Oversee Project Managers with moderate to complex projects.
• Manage and encourage staff to foster improvements through innovations.
• Empower staff to be accountable for their actions and decisions.
• Manage highly complex projects and some moderate ones each year.
• Request and review resource allocation for projects and portfolios.
• Communicate impacts regarding capacity and demand and identify process improvements.
• Define performance parameters and create variance reports to track progress.
