Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead core construction activities in Louisiana. You’ll oversee preconstruction, scheduling, procurement, and coordination with owners, designers and subcontractors on complex projects.

This role requires 5+ years of construction management, a bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering, and a proven ability to manage budgets, safety, and lean processes while delivering profitable projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Valid driver's license; travel may be required.
• Ability to manage budgets and maximize profitability.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and incident investigations.
• Manage prestart and preconstruction processes.
• Coordinate with preconstruction: quantity takeoff, bid packages, schedules.
• Lead subcontractor buyout and pricing analysis.
• Manage submittal schedules and shop drawings.
• Forecast costs and margins; support project budget.
• Liaise with legal and project stakeholders.
