Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Houston, TX is seeking a seasoned Project Manager within the Advanced Facilities Group to lead safety initiatives, manage complex preconstruction activities, and drive subcontractor coordination from buyout through closeout. You’ll partner with design teams, owners, and trades to maintain schedule, quality, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
• Manages the JE Dunn prestart process.
• Supports the preconstruction team including quantity takeoff, trade coordination and scope of work development, scope review, bid package development, schedule development, bid list creation and bid advertisement.
• Leads plan and implementation of buyout schedule and manages subcontractor pricing and scope.
