Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Spring Valley, CA to lead construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships while coordinating owners, GC’s, engineers, vendors, and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of PM experience in construction. Proficiency with CAD, Bluebeam, Vista/Procore, and On-Screen Takeoff is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university.
• Three or more years of project management experience in construction.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, education, municipal, or public works construction projects.
• Proficiency with CAD software, including drafting brake shapes and anchors and checking dimensions.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, including markups and slipsheeting.
• Experience with construction management software such as Vista and/or Procore.
• Experience with On-Screen Takeoff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining quality, safety, and financial control.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction planning through final closeout.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, schedules, and project requirements to support successful execution.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, change orders, purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and overall financial performance.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, engineers, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate manpower planning, procurement, material deliveries, field operations, inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality control.
• Lead project meetings, support field leadership, mentor team members, and promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
