Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hotel renovation, hospitality construction, or similar renovation experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, project coordination, and field execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction or project management software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the West Coast.
  • Must be able to live anywhere in the U.S. except California.

Job Summary

A Construction Project Manager is needed for a direct hire opportunity overseeing hotel renovation projects throughout the West Coast. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional with strong hospitality renovation experience who enjoys travel, fast-paced project environments, and managing work from pre-construction through final completion.

This opportunity is with an established national construction organization specializing in hotel renovations and hospitality projects. The company offers a stable project pipeline, experienced leadership, strong teamwork, and a reputation for delivering quality work for hotel owners and operators. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for keeping renovation projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations while coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field teams. This is a travel-heavy position with company-paid travel expenses and scheduled long weekends home approximately every 3 to 4 weeks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage hotel renovation projects from pre-construction planning through project completion.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, timelines, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, internal teams, hotel ownership, management, and other project stakeholders.
  • Monitor quality, safety, building code compliance, and company standards across active job sites.
  • Identify project issues, resolve challenges quickly, and minimize delays or cost impacts.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while traveling extensively throughout the West Coast.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary up to $120,000 per year, based on experience.
  • Direct hire position.
  • Bonus opportunity every 6 months after the first year of employment.
  • Company-paid travel expenses.
  • Medical insurance available.
  • 1 week of PTO after 1 year of employment.
  • Scheduled long weekends home approximately every 3 to 4 weeks that do not count against PTO.
  • Travel-heavy role supporting projects throughout the West Coast.
  • Candidates may live anywhere in the U.S. except California.
Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for hotel ownership, management teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Travel extensively to active West Coast project sites.
  • 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience.
  • 5+ years of hotel renovation, hospitality construction, or similar renovation experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, project coordination, and field execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction or project management software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience managing hotel guestroom renovations, public space renovations, or occupied hospitality renovation projects.
  • Experience working with national hotel brands, hotel ownership groups, or hospitality management teams.
  • Strong subcontractor management experience in fast-paced renovation environments.
  • Experience managing multiple active renovation projects across different locations.
