Fransen Pittman in Englewood, CO seeks a Project Engineer I to coordinate needs and resolve conflicts with architects and subcontractors, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.

The role requires strong technical skills, ability to read plans and specifications, and effective communication with all stakeholders. A related degree and construction management experience are favored with a supportive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4 year B.S. degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or 2 year A.S. degree in Construction management PLUS 2 years full time work experience
• Strong technology skills are a required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Bluebeam. Revit and Revizto knowledge is a plus!
• Ability to read and understand all project documents (plans, specifications, etc)
• Professionally communicate with all levels of personnel within the organization and with external clients and partners
• Ability to collaborate as a team and work independently as needed
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and extreme attention to detail
• OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Gather lead times for materials and ensure reviews and approvals meet the construction schedule
• Coordinate delivery of materials with subcontractors and site superintendent
• Thorough reviews of submittals before sending to Architect for final approval
• Generate RFIs to the design team
