Job summary

Fransen Pittman, located in Englewood, CO, seeks a Project Engineer I to coordinate trade partner needs and support project QA/QC. You will handle plan review, RFIs, submittals, and material lead times to ensure on-time project delivery.

The role requires a solid engineering or construction management foundation, strong communication, and attention to detail. On-site work with a benefits-focused employer is offered.

Qualifications

• 4 year B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management or 2 year A.S. in Construction Management with 2 years full-time experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Bluebeam; Revit and Revizto knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand project documents (plans, specs, etc.).
• Strong communication with internal teams and external partners; detail oriented.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate needs and resolve conflicts between trade partners to keep projects on schedule.
• Review project plans and specs to address questions from designers and contractors.
• Gather lead times for materials and ensure on-time approvals to meet timeline.
• Coordinate material delivery with subcontractors and site superintendent.
• Review subcontractor submittals before arch/design approvals; generate RFIs.
• Distribute up-to-date plans to subcontractors and assist with permits.
• Create and distribute punch lists; compile manuals and warranties.
• Collect Revizto/Rev it data from trades for BIM coordination.
• Support QA/QC planning and maintain project documentation.
