Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to provide construction project engineering services at Fort Devens, MA.

The role includes project observation, reporting to government personnel, and implementing applicable laws, regulations, and policies. The candidate will oversee QA/QC activities, coordinate with DoR and CFM, review schedules and submittals, and prepare cost analyses and modification scopes of work.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required and 7+ years in contract administration or office engineering.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain clearances is required.
• Experience with government contracting and RMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities.
• Analyze design and construction issues related to contract requirements and provide recommendations.
• Review project schedules and contractor submittals for compliance.
• Prepare daily reports, QA/QC documentation, and modification scopes of work.
• Support negotiations for time extensions and cost changes.
• Prepare technical, cost, and price analyses for modifications and REAs.
• Attend preconstruction conferences and coordinate with COR and government personnel.
