Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to provide construction project engineering services at Fort Devens, MA.

You will observe projects, report to government personnel, and support delivery by implementing regulations and policies. You will oversee contracts, review submittals, prepare QA reports, coordinate with DoR/CFM, and support modification scopes and cost analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in contract administration and/or office engineering with knowledge of building construction, construction management, and/or engineering design.
• Experience supporting U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), DoD, Air Force, or other federal construction programs preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, shop drawings, and technical documents.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Analyze design and construction issues with respect to contract requirements and provide recommendations on compliance and environmental requirements.
• Provide field surveillance and prepare detailed daily reports covering cost and engineering considerations.
• Review submittals for compliance with contract requirements and coordinate with reviewers.
• Prepare change orders, modifications, and cost estimates in support of the Resident Office ACO/COR.
