Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to support the Earth & Environment Operations in Texas and Louisiana. You will manage project controls, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling across a diverse environmental and engineering portfolio, coordinating with project managers and technical teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with experience using Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance; environmental science, engineering, or related technical field coursework/experience is a plus.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in project controls, project coordination, financial management, or related disciplines.
• Foundational understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage projects per WSP's Delivery Manual and quality procedures.
• Monitor and control budgets, expenditures, schedules, and overall performance with project teams.
• Provide updates on project status, controls, financial performance, and forecasting trends to managers.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers; prepare work orders and payment processing.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules; identify risks and corrective actions.
• Support invoicing processes with accounting and finance for timely collections.
• Assist in HSE requirements and plans development and tracking.
• Document client interactions, meeting outcomes, and key decisions.
