Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to join its Earth & Environment Operations in Texas and Louisiana. You will support project delivery, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and resource management across environmental and engineering projects.

The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-schedule, on-budget performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, preferably complemented by coursework or experience in environmental science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in project controls, project coordination, financial management, or related disciplines.
• Foundational understanding of project management principles and best practices.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery, financial performance, scheduling, forecasting, and resource management.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, schedules, and overall performance with project teams.
• Provide updates on project status and forecasting trends to Project and Technical Managers.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on work orders and payment processing.
• Lead project closeout activities including documentation and lessons learned.
