Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to join its Earth & Environment Operations team in Texas and Louisiana. You will support project delivery, financial performance, scheduling, forecasting, and procurement for a diverse portfolio of environmental and engineering projects.

The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a focus on delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, preferably with related technical coursework/experience.
  • 3–5 years in project controls, coordination, financial management, or related disciplines.
  • Foundational understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency with project management software (Oracle Primavera P6), MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

  • Support project delivery, financial performance, scheduling, forecasting, and resource management.
  • Establish and maintain project budgets and schedules; identify variances and risks.
  • Coordinate with accounting for invoicing, payments, and collections.
  • Lead or support change orders, supplier coordination, and procurement activities.
  • Maintain project records and document management; support proposal development.
  • Facilitate project communications and lessons learned; support closeout activities.
