Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to join the Earth & Environment Operations team in Texas and Louisiana. The role focuses on project controls, financial management, scheduling and governance across a diverse portfolio of environmental and engineering projects.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, invoicing support and closeout activities, with collaboration across Project Managers and technical leads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance with tech/environmental context preferred
• 3–5 years of project controls/financial management experience
• Foundational understanding of project management principles
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication; client facing
• PMP certification is an asset; travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery, financial performance, scheduling, forecasting and resource management
• Monitor and control budgets, expenditures and schedules
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers; process payments
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules; identify risks and corrective actions
• Ensure invoicing in line with client requirements and collect payments
• Assist with HSE requirements and project documentation
• Lead closeout activities including lessons learned and documentation
