Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to join its Earth & Environment Operations team in Texas and Louisiana. You will support all phases of the project lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and resource management to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and proficiency with Oracle Primavera (P6), Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance; environmental science/engineering background is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in project controls, project coordination, or financial management.
• Foundational understanding of project management principles and best practices.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders.
• PMI/PM/P6 experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery, financial performance, and operational excellence across diverse projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor and control budgets, expenditures, schedules, and performance.
• Provide timely updates on project status, controls, and forecasting trends to managers.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers; prepare work orders and payment processing.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules; identify risks and corrective actions.
• Assist with invoicing, client requirements, and collections; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support HSE requirements and plans; document client interactions and decisions.
• Coordinate preparation, quality review, and distribution of deliverables; manage changes.
