Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to support a diverse portfolio of Earth & Environment projects in Texas and Louisiana. You will assist with budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and risk management across the project lifecycle, collaborating with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery and contractual adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance; environmental science/engineering exposure preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in project controls or related fields.
• Foundational understanding of project management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with PM software (Oracle Primavera P6, Portfolio Manager) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
• Monitor and control budgets, expenditures, schedules, and performance.
• Prepare status updates, forecasts, and cash flow projections for managers.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams on work orders and payments.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules; identify risks and actions.
• Ensure invoicing compliance and support timely collections.
