Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to support the Earth & Environment Operations in Texas and Louisiana. You will help manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and resource planning across environmental and engineering projects.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Some travel may be required to support field operations and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance with exposure to environmental consulting or engineering is required.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project controls, financial management, or related disciplines.
• Foundational understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engagement with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish, coordinate, and manage projects in accordance with the company's project delivery procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor and control budgets, expenditures, schedules, and overall performance across projects.
• Provide timely updates on project status, costs, and forecasting trends to project managers.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for work orders, payments, and approvals.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules, identify risks, variances, and corrective actions.
