Job summary

GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking a Project Control Analyst to support the management and administration of multiple government contracts in Norfolk, VA. The role monitors project financials, prepares accruals, and collaborates with Program Managers to ensure accuracy of reporting.

The candidate should have a BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, two years of project control experience, and proficiency with Deltek CostPoint and Excel. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of project control experience.
• Deltek CostPoint experience required.
• Experience with FAR and GAAP preferred.
• Understanding of revenue recognition concepts preferred.
• Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand project structure, cost accruals, billings and financial reporting.
• Set up projects and understand government contract requirements.
• Ensure invoices align with contract requirements and reconcile billings per CLIN.
• Prepare monthly project accruals and coordinate between Accounting and Project Managers.
• Analyze costs and correct improper allocations on projects.
• Maintain project tracking spreadsheets for actuals and forecasts.
• Report on unbilled balances and project financials.
• Provide timely reporting of all project financial information.
• Review and code supplier invoices and AP vouchers as needed.
• Assist in monthly revenue forecasts and CDRLs.
• Review contract funding levels for funding notifications.
• Assist pricing on existing and new opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
