Job summary
Arcadis is seeking a Project Civil/Environmental Engineer to support a broad US portfolio. You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and managers on civil design and environmental permitting for sites in energy, industrial, and transportation sectors.
The role involves office work with field assignments as needed. Requirements include a BS in a related field, FE certification, and 5+ years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
- Fluent with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or other terrain modeling design software.
Responsibilities
- Develop engineering designs for permitting or construction permits.
- Manage civil or environmental projects including land development.
- Analyze technical reports, drawings, maps, tests, and aerial photos to support design.
- Travel up to 15% and mentor junior engineers.
- Contribute in client and stakeholder meetings.
