Job summary

Arcadis seeks a self-starting Project Civil/Environmental Engineer to support a nationwide portfolio of civil design and environmental permitting projects. You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, project managers, and technical experts across sectors such as energy, industrial, and transportation, focusing on site development, reclamation, and restoration.

The role requires FE certification, at least 5 years of professional experience, and strong skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or closely related field.
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
Fluent with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or other terrain modeling design software.
Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (e.g., HydroCAD, WinTR-55, Pond Pack, HEC-RAS).

Responsibilities

Develop engineering designs for permitting or construction permits.
Manage civil or environmental engineering projects with site development focus.
Analyze documents (reports, submittals, maps, drawings, tests, photos) to support design.
Review regulations, permitting requirements, and standards.
Produce quality materials within tight timeframes and manage multiple assignments.
Occasionally conduct field assignments and client meetings.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with national/global teams.
