Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a self-starting Project Civil/Environmental Engineer to support an expanding portfolio of projects across the United States. You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, project managers, and technical experts on civil design and environmental permitting for diverse projects in energy, industrial, and transportation sectors.

The role requires FE exam completion, at least 5 years of professional experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Fluent with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or other terrain modeling design software.
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (e.g., HydroCAD, WinTR-55, PondPack, HEC-RAS).

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs for permitting or construction permits under supervision and guidance.
• Manage civil or environmental engineering projects including land development, stormwater permitting, and related planning.
• Analyze technical reports, drawings, and maps to support design development.
• Review regulations and standards to create compliant civil designs.
• Travel up to 15% and conduct field assignments as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with local, national, and global teams.
