Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Billing Specialist in Raleigh, NC, to manage project billing, AR monitoring, and time/expense reviews within a 100% employee-owned firm. You will interact with Client Execs, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure accurate, timely financial workflows.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and familiarity with contract terms. Hybrid schedule, travel up to 10%, and a robust benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering and/or construction preferred.
• Prior billing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Deltek-Vantagepoint or similar software is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project initiation and setup in Vision, ensuring contract terms are accurate.
• Review contracts for unusual terms impacting billings.
• Prepare monthly client billings for projects, ensuring accuracy.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid amounts.
• Review and approve timesheets and expense reports.
• Enter sub consultant invoices and approve payments when due.
• Maintain confidentiality of all company and project information.
• Meet with teams at their primary office location at least twice yearly.
