Job summary

Turner Construction Co. is seeking a seasoned HR leader to manage the full employment lifecycle, including recruiting, employee relations, talent management, training, and benefits, across one or more business units.

You will supervise one or more HR Generalists/Administrators, partner with senior management, and drive continuous improvement in HR services while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program and minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 3 years of supervisory or management experience, required
• PHR® or SHRM-CP® certification preferred
• Construction or construction-related experience in large organizations (10,000+ employees) preferred

Responsibilities

• Promote company culture, values, and diversity and inclusion activities across company.
• Serve as trusted advisor and build partnerships with local management and employees to guide on HR policies, procedures, and laws.
• Participate in defining goals and decisions for regional HR department and suggest policy improvements.
• Deliver an exceptional employee experience by fostering a trusting HR environment and advising BU leadership on people-related needs.
• Lead Talent Acquisition plans for BU, including campus and experienced hires, onboarding, mobility, and related processes.
• Oversee recruitment efforts to source and select applicants effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop sourcing and recruitment strategies.
• Screen applications and perform preliminary candidate screening.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
