Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced HR leader for a high-visibility project in Northern Louisiana. You will manage full employment life cycle, recruit, drive employee relations, talent management, training, and benefits across one or more business units.

You will supervise HR Generalists/Administrators and partner with leadership to ensure compliance with laws and company policies while delivering an exceptional employee experience on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience with 3 years supervisory/management experience.
• PHR/SHRM certification preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Construction or large organization experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR operations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to influence at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Promote culture, values, and D&I across the company and project sites.
• Advise management on HR policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Define goals for the client group and improve HR services.
• Foster an extraordinary employee experience and provide guidance to BU leadership.
• Coach and develop HR staff across locations and support performance reviews.
• Manage relations with labor providers and labor strategy partners.
• Assist Talent Acquisition for campus and experienced hires and onboarding.
• Develop sourcing strategies with hiring managers and plan for skilled labor.
• Participate in salary planning and merit discussions with BU leaders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
