Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Shelton, CT is seeking a senior Human Resources leader to manage full lifecycle HR functions across one or more business units. You will guide recruiting, employee relations, talent management, training, benefits, and partner with managers and employees nationwide.

You will supervise HR Generalists/Administrators, influence regional HR strategies, and drive continuous improvement and compliance with government laws and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited program and 7+ years HR experience with 3+ years in supervision.
• PHR® or SHRM-CP® certification preferred.
• Construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle HR functions across business units.
• Manage one or more HR Generalists/Administrators in multiple locations.
• Promote culture, D&I, and employee health and wellbeing.
• Advise management on HR policies and legal/regulatory matters.
• Define regional HR goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver employee experience and support BU leadership on people needs.
• Lead Talent Acquisition including campus and experienced hires.
• Oversee recruitment strategies with department heads.
• Screen applications and conduct preliminary interviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
