Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an HR Generalist to provide guidance on recruiting, employee relations, talent management, training, and benefits across a mixed workforce of staff and craft employees.

This 100% on-site role requires partnering with managers to align HR programs, investigate issues, coordinate onboarding, and support payroll and benefits information across project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Familiarity with trade unions, CBAs, and union workforce practices preferred.
• Knowledge of HR policies, operations, and processes.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to assigned business units on HR programs and respond to employee inquiries.
• Lead investigations into workplace issues to ensure fair, consistent outcomes.
• Coordinate Talent Acquisition activities including sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding.
• Coordinate with Safety for jobsite orientation and onboarding.
• Partner with Payroll to maintain accurate employee records and HR data.
