Job summary

Trane Technologies in Charlotte is seeking a Project Administrator for our Service group. You will support Project Managers, handle project documentation, procurement, invoicing, and closeout across multiple projects at different stages, ensuring timely delivery.

The role interacts with internal and external customers to foster a positive culture. Requires strong communication, organization, and basic accounting knowledge; flexibility for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Experience with financial systems and basic accounting is an asset.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established standard work and processes, utilizing several enterprise systems.
• Coordinate the transition of projects from Sales to Operations within enterprise systems.
• Administer projects through full life cycle to ensure contract compliance and delivery.
• Manage procurement processes per project requirements and issue PO/subcontracts.
• Coordinate monthly customer invoicing per project and manager direction.
• Coordinate recording of project costs including time sheets and vendor invoices.
• Review billing backlog and communicate with Project Managers and customers to resolve obstacles.
