iSuite L.L.C. in Granite City, IL is seeking a Project Accountant to join our accounting team. You will support project finance, set up jobs, issue invoices, and ensure timely billing for our construction projects.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of billing and job management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a proactive mindset. Travel up to 25% may be required; experience with Vista by Viewpoint is a plus.

iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join our Accounting team. iSuite is a business support services organization formed in 2023. The organization provides business development and pursuit, estimating, safety, accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing, and training services to clients within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (A/E/C) industry.

We are currently looking for a Project Accountant to join our Accountingteam located at our office in Granite City, IL. Our ideal candidate for a Project Accountant is someone who has 1-3 years of experience in billing and job management, with a hands-on approach and a strong ability to build relationships. They should demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, thrive in a collaborative environment, and bring a proactive mindset. While construction experience is preferred, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grown in the role.

Primary responsibilities for iSuite’s Project Accountant include:

• Providing project finance support and analysis for assigned projects.
• Setting up new jobs from job information sheet.
• Requesting and tracking Certificates of Insurance for assigned projects.
• Reviewing and following contract requirements, special provisions, and terms & conditions.
• Preparing customer billing, understand the importance of timely and accurate billing documentation.
• Aiding in collection of outstanding payments and the effects of timeliness on cash management.
• Preparing and submitting all required project related reporting, such as certified payroll.
• Comprehending and follows purchasing procedures for goods purchased for assigned projects.
• Troubleshooting vendor issues by applying a thorough understanding of the accounts payable process.
• Assisting in coding subcontractor and equipment invoices in Vista.
• Requesting subcontractor and other vendor invoices when necessary.
• Conducting monthly reviews of projections and budgets to ensure accurate cost and revenue recognition.
• Displaying first-rate customer service skills, maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to offer a helping hand to other team members.

Primary qualifications for iSuite’s Project Accountant include:

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as needed to support regional operations.
• A self-starter who enjoys working in a large team environment.
• Demonstrates outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Displays strong attention to detail, while having the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• Maintains attention to detail while managing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintains strict awareness and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
• Performs efficiently in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Works with others within the organization with a positive, helpful attitude; taking ownership of the role and seeking ways to improve processes.
• Familiarity with Vista by Viewpoint software is preferred
• Experience working with unions and a background in the construction industry are both valued.
