Job summary

Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH is seeking an experienced RN for Progressive Care (Step Down) at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care across Med-Surg and ICU units.

Responsibilities include safe medication administration, patient safety advocacy, and contributing to quality improvement efforts. BSN preferred; Ohio RN licensure required; ACLS/BLS as specified.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire (or eligible).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and develop and adjust plans of care.
• Act as liaison between Med-Surg and ICU units to coordinate care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Administer medications safely according to policy and procedure.
• Lead patient safety and participate in ongoing quality improvement.
