Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care (Step down) unit at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required).
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire); ACLS preferred and ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and plan of care.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination across departments.
• Administer medications safely per state practice and policies.
