Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ seeks a Patient Care Assistant to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The role provides routine patient care, supports nursing staff, and helps maintain patient comfort on a 36-bed unit.

Full-time day shift 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. with rotating weekends and holidays; a $3,000 sign-on incentive is available for Licensed CNA/LNA. Previous PCA/LNA/CNA experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care and nursing support.
• Ability to take vitals and document measurements.
• Strong teamwork and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility support.
• Collect vital signs and document patient data per unit policy.
• Report changes in patient status to licensed staff and communicate effectively for continuity of care.
• Support nursing staff and perform unit tasks to maintain efficient operations.
