Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona, seeks a Patient Care Assistant for the 6pm–6:30am Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will deliver routine patient care, assist with daily living activities, and document in medical records while rotating weekends/holidays.

Licensed CNA/LNA are eligible for a $3,000 sign-on incentive. Prior PCA/LNA/CNA experience is preferred but not required; teamwork and compassionate care are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as PCA/LNA/CNA is preferred but not required.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Willingness to rotate weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine patient care to promote comfort and support the patient plan.
• Collects vital signs and documents in medical records.
• Assists with ADLs and mobility, and supports nutritional intake as needed.
• Performs procedures under supervision and assists with unit activities and patient transport.
• Maintains complete patient records and ensures charting is filed.
