Loyola Marymount University is seeking a Programs Coordinator for Research and Academic Engagement (RAE) to support student-facing programs within the Academic Resource Center (ARC). The role includes coordinating tutoring, learning communities, workshops, and events, and assisting in tutor training and ARC assessment logistics.

The coordinator will work closely with ARC platforms (WC Online, Brightspace LMS) and university partners, meeting students for intakes and providing coaching on time

Formación

• Typically, a bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Three years of related job experience.
• Experience at a college/university learning center is essential.
• Exemplary written and oral communication skills; ability to prepare reports and summaries.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative team and manage records.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate planning and support learning communities, workshops and events; develop ARC resources.
• Support ARC platforms (WC Online) and tutor schedules and locations.
• Assist in tutor training and intake processes for academic coaching.
• Meet with students to discuss ARC services, time management, study skills and accountability.
• Oversee ARC assessment rollout and data management; assist with literature reviews.
