Job summary

Loyola Marymount University is seeking a Programs Coordinator for Research and Academic Engagement (RAE) to support student-facing ARC programs, tutoring coordination, and student learning communities. The role includes assisting in tutor training, scheduling, and assessment, with responsibility for intakes and academic coaching support.

The coordinator will oversee ARC platforms, coordinate resources, and participate in outreach, communications, and data management.

Qualifications

• Typically, a bachelor’s degree is required.
• A master’s degree is preferred.
• Three years of related job experience.
• Exemplary communication skills (written and oral).
• Experience with teaching methodologies, classroom instruction, and tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate planning and support ARC programs, workshops and events.
• Oversee ARC marketing, scheduling and budgeting tasks.
• Represent LMU on campus tours, panels and outreach events.
• Hire, train and supervise ARC front desk student employees.
