Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Program Supplier Assurance Engineer to improve supplier quality and drive corrective actions across the supply base. You will perform on-site surveillance, reviews, and risk assessments to ensure program requirements are met.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree, 8+ years in quality engineering, experience with SPC/FMEA/QFD, and is able to travel up to 25%. U.S. citizenship and interim security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields required.
• 8+ years of quality engineering, manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience with SPC, FMEA, and/or QFD.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9145 and AS9102 standards.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site Source Surveillance and Corrective Action reviews.
• Ensure flow down of product requirements to internal teams and sub-tiers.
• Interpret quality requirements and apply Q-Notes to procured parts.
• Lead supplier factory process walks and risk assessments.
• Contribute to KPI development and supplier quality metrics.
• Support RCA/CAPA processes and communicate findings to stakeholders.
